About Jacquiline

Meet Jacquiline Mai.

As a therapist specializing in perinatal mental health, I believe in creating a safe, compassionate space where you feel empowered to explore, heal, and rediscover yourself. My approach is holistic and client-centered, tailored to honor your unique journey through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. I nurture growth by validating your experiences and gently guiding you to release what no longer serves you. While offering unwavering support, I also encourage you to explore new perspectives and challenge thought patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll work to cultivate clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of self.

What Our Work Together Looks Like

We’ll begin by creating a compassionate, judgment-free space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we’ll identify the beliefs and patterns keeping you stuck and work on developing the tools you need to feel empowered, confident, and connected. I’ll challenge you to grow while always respecting your pace, because you are the expert of your own journey.

Why I Do This Work

Parenthood is one of life’s most challenging and rewarding transitions, but it can also feel isolating. I know this because I’ve walked this path myself.

When I became a first-time mom, I felt lost and overwhelmed. My identity shifted in ways I didn’t expect, and the stress spilled into my relationship with my husband. We found ourselves arguing more than ever in our 10 years together. I returned to therapy to find clarity and regain a sense of self, and my husband and I sought couples therapy to rebuild our connection. Therapy reminded me that I was doing enough as a mother and helped us better communicate and support each other.

Years later, when we decided to grow our family, we experienced a devastating late-term loss. The grief was consuming, bringing anxiety, depression, and intrusive thoughts. It was the most difficult time of my life, but it also gave me a renewed sense of purpose and gratitude for life’s fragility.

The following year, we welcomed our rainbow baby. Navigating pregnancy after loss was terrifying, but it has deepened my sense of gratitude in the heavy moments, for enormous grief is the result of enormous love.

How I Can Support You

My personal experiences inspired me to dedicate my career to supporting women and families navigating similar challenges. As a perinatal therapist, I combine professional expertise with genuine empathy to help you feel seen, understood, and supported.

Whether you’re facing fertility struggles, postpartum overwhelm, relationship challenges, or loss, you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we’ll work to help you heal, grow, and find balance. As we work together, you will be working with someone who truly understands this season of life and is here to help you every step of the way.
